IF I wasn’t so excited I would probably be ready to fall asleep. Don’t eat lots of ice cream before bed, kids.

Anyway, I’m pleasantly surprised to see stuff with over 200cc’s here.

H opefully I don’t make too big of a fool out of myself. The class is small (6 people) and the instructor seems friendly.

A coworker told me about her experience with a BRC. Apparently the instructor was a meathead who spent a large portion of their time showing off and sharing pictures and videos of how cool he was. I don't think I'll have to suffer the same fate thankfully.

Have fun!!!! You’ll have a blast... but not the Buell kind!

I’m honestly surprised to see the Ninjas there. That seems like an interesting way to learn.

What's a BRC? I assume it had something to do with learning how to ride a motorcycle?

Basic Riders Course.

At the end of it you get a 90 day temp license and then all you need to do is pay a fee and register essentially.

Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic  RiderCourse. It teaches you the basics and is generally a shortcut to getting your endorsement.

Im kind of glad it's there if it's a 300. If we're not going to do tiered licensing hen we should probably at least stick people on 250/300 cc bikes like the ones they're likely to buy. Especially if they're more modern in terms of chassis and brake design. Not that there's anything wrong with the tw200 though. I had a blast at the rider's training I did on mine at the MSF course.

We just finished the classroom part with the test. Should be on my first bike soon and I'm pretty pumped
